Salesian College Siliguri won Skit Competition organized by NSS unit, North Bengal University on the theme “DIGITAL INDIA”

Rabindra Bhanu Manch, North Bengal University: The NSS wing of North Bengal University had organized a workshop on DIGITAL INDIA. The workshop had four events Skit competition, Poster Making Competition, Idea Generation and Quiz. 20 affiliating colleges had participated in the workshop/competition. The workshop started at 9am with registration and continued till 5pm. The concept of digital India was introduced and was made well acquainted with its functions and facilities. Some of the facilities such as ‘e-sign’, ‘digital locker’, ‘e-hospital’, ‘skill development’, e-waste were explained.

 

During the workshop attendees were distributed into five groups for the purpose of applying the knowhow to software projects. Each group was given a project to study and prepare a Software Requirements Specifications document. Details as follows:
 
 

Our college (Salesian College Siliguri) won the first position in the skit competition. The college presented the skit on e-waste. The programme coordinator, North Bengal University, Dr. Ujjwal Bhui congratulate the participants of Salesian College Siliguri and encouraged their participation in future.
